Christmas comes but once a year … thank goodness, say many of you (I agree!).
At Shared Kitchen we are getting in the celebratory mood and having a bumper sale of our absolute fave knives of all time: FURI.
Hey, you can pronounce it FURRY, or FURY, it doesn’t matter too much, these knives are the ones that have been attached to my hands for over 15 years. I love so much about them: the feel (ergonomically designed); the fact that they stay sharp and are easy to sharpen with their own nifty ‘Diamond Fingers’ sharpening device; they’re easy to clean and look after and don’t harbour bacteria around the handle; there are no bits and bobs to fall off over time because they are one piece of metal. …. And, and, and…. FURI!
If you have been meaning to buy yourself – or your partner, your son, daughter, friend – a good knife for some time, but keep putting it off because choosing a knife is difficult, stressful, where do you begin …. or maybe you have had your eye on a Furi knife for a while and have been thinking about buying one, then NOW is the time, while the sale is on.
A WHOPPING 20% off FURI knives and sharpeners
BUT ONLY for the next 10 days!
We want to get them to you before Christmas … so the earlier you put your order in, the greater the chance you have of receiving them in time to put them under the tree for unwrapping on the 25th (Note, the price is slightly more than 20% off; I’ve rounded it down for convenience!) We can post them anywhere in NZ (and most likely further afield, too).
The set I use is the following:
Furi Pro East-West knife 17cm
Furi Diamond Fingers Sharpening Systems
Furi 25cm Carving Knife
Furi 15cm Carving/Utility Knife
Furi 25cm Bread Knife
Furi 9cm Paring Knife
The East-West knife is my main chopping knife that I use for vegetable prep, chopping herbs and all manner of kitchen jobs. The bread knife is indispensable, not just for slicing bread, but for cutting sponge cakes in half or other ‘tender’ items which could be crushed by a big chopping blade. The carving knife comes in a smaller size (pictured) 15cm blade and is useful for smaller carving items such as lamb racks and also for slicing small vegetables and fruit. The larger one is essential for slicing fillets of beef and he Christmas ham.
If you are interested, please don’t delay as with Christmas fast approaching, items can run out of stock and courier services get booked out …. For more information check out here FURI knives
