Cooking classes in June & July

June 8, 2016 by Julie Biuso 2 Comments

Winter has arrived in the southern hemisphere, although looking out my windows at blue sky and hearing birds chirping in the still bush, it’s hard to believe. But warming dishes are what is in order here.

The next round of classes include plenty of ideas to help you cosy up over the chilly months.

I’ve got a really great class on Great Winter Classics. These dishes will stand you in good stead for years to come. Learn techniques and plenty of tips and come away with a great set of recipes.

Get in early to secure your booking, as places are limited.

Saturday 25th June is fully booked, but there are still spaces on the Friday class. Why not make a day of it on Waiheke and come over with friends.

Keep the Home Fires Burning

Friday 17th June 1.00-3.00pm approx

A repeat of our popular class for those who missed out last time, covering candy-coloured Chioggia beetroot, puy lentils, porcini mushrooms, cauliflower three-ways (a superb dish! – 3 recipes in one!), and finishing off with Queen of Puddings. We’ll also taste freshly crushed new season’s olive oil, see how spaghetti squash is prepared, and enjoy delicious and award-winning wines.

(Te Whau The Point 2009; Villa Maria award-winning Reserve Pinot Noir; Villa Maria Alberino, the new darling grape variety which seems to suit both Savvie and Chardonnay lovers).

$99.00 per person

    Hi Julie

Do you have 2 places left for Friday 24th?

Also, while we were away, did we miss the dinner – when you were cooking – and if so, are you planning more?

    Regards
    Pam
