We all know there’s no better place to be in winter than a warm kitchen full of gorgeous smells wafting out of pots and pans. Come and share my kitchen!

Class content can be designed to suit: classes can be built around such themes as a mid-year winter feast, comfort pudds (including some of the classics), dishes to spark up your midweek cooking, or a great repertoire of fancy fingerfood to impress your friends at your next drinks party, or choose a Spanish, Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Thai or Indian theme.

Perhaps you just want to learn to cook something!

Opt for a class with a tutorial on how to use spices, make pastry, make a cake, make pasta, cook risotto and Spanish rice, how to cook the interesting grains now appearing in shops, or learn how to sharpen knives or what kitchen equipment to buy. You name it, we can include it (just about!).

The Winter White Special is running throughout July. Take a midweek break and come over to Waiheke with a bunch of friends. You could start the day with an olive oil tasting of the just released 2017 olive oil, then visit the art and ceramics galleries or find some treasures in the Oneroa shops, then come on to the class. The offer is also available during July weekends, but get in early, as Saturday is the most popular day for cooking classes.
