Wet Sundays

Drizzle, drab, boredom. Coffee drunk. Crosswords done. The day stretches ahead like a heavy grey blanket. May as well tuck up in bed with the cat OR (lightbulb moment), shower (yes, ditch the dressing gown) spruce up and get yourself off somewhere smart. That I did last Sunday. Met some friends. Went to Alibi Brewery underneath Tantalus restaurant in Onetangi and drank some very smart gin. Well, I didn’t drink gin because it’s not my tipple, but I had a sniff of it, and a sip, and I tell you what, this would be the most amazing gin I have ever tried. Just thought I would share this.
