A river flows through my garden
Yep, flooded again, but this time, flooding downstairs has been averted thanks in part to the trenches dug by volunteer firemen when my place flooded a few weeks ago, again on a Wednesday, and nifty handiwork from friend Richard who dug in a pipe.
It’s not raining here on the ‘heke at the moment, but my waterfalls continue flowing. Last time they flowed for 2 days AFTER the rain stopped. Hello Council? Do you hear me? The rain is coming from the top. The drains are blocked. And there are people below me. Get your trucks to the top you hear me and divert the water there. Yeah Yeah, I’ll give them another call later …
