You hardly need a recipe to celebrate avocado … but just in case you need a reminder, serve them with freshly squeezed lime, extra virgin olive oil and flaky sea salt and enjoy them spread on bread. Easy.
Perfectly ripe avocados (allow half an avocado per person) Limes or lemons for squeezing Extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil or lemon or lime infused oil Flaky sea salt Freshly sliced red chilli, optional Cherry tomatoes, halved Black olives Bread Fresh herbs (coriander/cilantro, basil, mint, etc)
Cut avocados in half and arrange on a small platter or dish. Squeeze over a little lime or lemon juice, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt. Scatter with chilli and add tomatoes and olives to dish. Serve with bread and fresh herbs.
