Osso Buco
Osso buco smells so good as it cooks – tomatoes, wine, onion, herbs and garlic simmered together – so tempting on a winter’s day!


Rich and bursting with umami flavours, I’ve upped the ante with porcini mushrooms.

Rich, laden with umami flavours …winter’s reward.

This is hardly a pie – it’s really a stew with a crusty scone topping – but it does the job of a good meat pie, that is, it fills you up right down to your boots with warming inexpensive food.
