Love your spuds? Here’s some ideas for jacket-baked potatoes.
Slather them with butter. Drizzle them with golden olive oil. Shower them with grated cheese. Top them with an egg, poached or fried, and drizzle with garlic or chilli butter. Add a dollop of chilli beans, a spoonful of sour cream and a smattering of chopped coriander. Drape them with sizzled bacon or pancetta. Top them with leftover cauliflower cheese, scatter with cheese and grill until crusty. Or fill them with with spoonfuls of bolognese sauce and sprinkle with grated parmesan. Just about anything that goes with potatoes can be served on top or in a jacket potato.
