Fat Freddy’s Drop Concerts

Dining options at Cable Bay’s Verandah restaurant, Waiheke Island, include periperi lettuce cups with prawns (seriously good), pork & fennel sausage skillet – a coil of tasty sausage with a green apple & mustard slaw – char-grilled zucchini, artichokes, feta & balsamic, and this week when I ate there,  a special of a spectacular piadina (flat bread) stuffed with mortadella, mozzarella & rocket. All pretty scrumptious! Plenty to keep you grooving’ on with FFD!

And at Thomas’s Bach Grilled vegetable salad with farro, roasted pine nuts, goat’s feta, saffron lime vinaigrette & roasted beetroot hummus with flat breads.
